| We just bought a 1995 Chaparral 1930 SS. I have skied before, but never wakeboarded. Some of my friends have and they said its awesome, I was wondering if my boat would work to wakeboard off of, it has a 4.3L V6 Mercrusier in it. Thank you |

Any boat will work to wakeboard off of, if it's got enough power to pull you up. How high you can get will depend on how good the wake is. You can try weighting it down and playing around with the trim. An inboard will be better, but you can still have tons of fun behind an I/O. There are a lot of people on this board that ride behind I/Os and can give you some good tips. _________________ I walk 47 miles of barb wire, I got a cobra snake for a necktie, a brand new house up on the road side, and it's made out of rattlesnake hide |

a chaparral is a great boat, i have an older one, to get a good wake raise the trim a bit. a little more weight in the front works good, and a tower or a pull wont hurt ya
