hey hey.
are there any regular lake E riders on this site? joe and i rode there last sunday - thanks, sean/shawn (sp?). when we pulled up to the launch, there was only one boat out (the one that we were gonna ride behind) and the water was butta. as the day progressed, a few other boats joined us... but i was still surprised that more people weren't out. is it not the "season" to hit up lake E, right now? i'm not complaining... being out there solo was perfect. i was just thinking that if that's the way it always is and anyone on this site is gonna hit it for the day or week-end (and you're looking for more "people" weight for the boat ), please shoot me a PM.
take care all.

Frankie,
You caught Elsinore on a good day. When the weather starts to get warmer you better believe you will not be the only boat on that gorgeous clean water. |

I rode Elsinore (Smellsomemore) 2 summers ago. At 8am, the place was a zoo! I rode for maybe 3 minutes, and decided it wasn't worth it. _________________ my demo reel

I rode that lake a few times. I've never seen wind whip up like that before. At 3pm it looked like Lake Michigan!....The ski course, or channel, or whatever it is was pretty nice ridin', though. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

When I saw the fish floating belly up and Smelsinore I knew there was something wrong. All I can say is it's probably full of Russian's urine. _________________ If I agreed with you we would both be wrong. |

| That fine piece of aquatic marvel is definately a stuff-ty little cesspool. It's nice that wakeboarding will actually get us into that fish killing stretch of heaven. |

LOl Stephan, but hey it's a lake and you can wakeboard, sometimes that's what counts most down here in SoCal. _________________ This time, like all times, is a very good one if we but know what to do with it. - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

i like the houses on disco bay, but they are far away from civilization. now while i am a big fan of the great wide open, i need the essentials to be relatively close. i mean, the closest in-n-out is like 30 min away and i didn't see a porn shop or liquor store on my way. come on now... all i ask is for the essentials.
oh, and there's NO ocean!!
take care all.

FRANKIE, there is a Safeway shopping center just outside of Disco Bay (plenty of liquor there), Stockton is only 20 minutes and there is an In-N-Out there, and I am positive you will find all the porno you want in either Antioch (15-20 mins) or Stockton.
And who needs the ocean when you have miles and miles of glass to ride on! _________________

chavez-y-chavez.
you're right about the in-n-out, now that i think about it. don't tell joe that i said this but... i'm not the best at directions or accurately placing time points. so maybe it was my stomach that thought the in-n-out was further than it really is.
no ocean!! i NEEd it... besides, you can't surf without it. and where there's no surfING, there's no surfERS . jk.
don't get me wrong, i love the delta area. we drove 5.5 hours just to ride it for the week-end. i don't regret getting back to LA county at 3AM and having to get up 3 hours later and be on the 5 for hours just to get to work late on a monday morning. it was totaly worth being able to ride up there. not only that, i'm gonna do it again... maybe i'll go up there like 1-2 times a month - every other week-end. who knows? it all depends on how much joe wants to drive JK, joe!! |

me too, I lived in the houses right near Safeway before I moved down to LA (and this was before I started wakeboarding ) I loved being able to go outside and see all the stars at night, something you don't see alot of in the more suburban areas. Only drawback is that you have to drive everywhere for everything.
Now I can't wait to get back up there! I am ready to go back to home sweet home! _________________ This time, like all times, is a very good one if we but know what to do with it. - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

wakeboardpro10, if by fresh you mean not salt, then yes.
No other place like it on earth... 20 mph wind... still can find butta! _________________
