Does 3 Stage rocker actually get you more air than continous? Just Overall. I would like to know if it would give you more air on a smaller ski tique wake, and on a big wakeboard boat wake.
Thanks

it might a little bit but it only works to its best on a big wake.

It works good on small and large wakes but is a lot harder to be consistent.

About how much more feet of air would u get, if you got a 5 foot air on a continuous
Then did that same exact cut on a 3-stage

5.5 feet of air, something like that is hard to quantify. You might go a little higher but you won't go as far into the flats either. It's really a matter of preference and skill level. Someone who is having trouble clearing the wakes should not get three stage as the miracle quick fix, it will only make it worse. It will not fix incorrect form. That being said, I like 3-stage boards they are special.

well put stephan,
3stage boards defenently throw u up higher. they arent a very good beginner rocker though. they also work better with a bigger wake just like orange glow said. yes.....3 stage boards are special Laughing

It gives you more POP not more air.

If you can harness that energy off the wake then you get more air.

to reiterate:

3-stage is up
continuous is out

3-stage doesn't necessarily mean you get more air, otherwise wouldn't everyone be making/selling/buying 3-stage boards?
