Olympic Sport?

Is wakeboarding an olympic sport yet? If it isnt, what is taking them so long! When and where are the olympics this year anyways? Athens???

It can't be an Olympic sport because an engine is used.

if it was going to be in the olympics(which its not)how could wakeboarding be in the olympics before skateboarding and surfing?? just doesnt make sense, it still doesnt get alotta coverage during the x games.

Alotta people view the X-Games as the Olympics for extreme sports. I would hate to see xtreme sports go into the olympics. To make the sport mainstream would take something away from the sport. To me it is cool being involved in a sport that is too xtreme to compete with regular sports. Besides, like CHiLi DaWg said, my lake is WAY to crowded already.
