Good evening all,
Since I can only wakeboard about 4-5 months a year and require a boat that can handle some bigger waters, we wakeboard behind a sterndrive Sea Ray 200BR with Bravo III drive. We are beginners/intermediate and are actually quite satisfied.

I'm considering adding some Fat Boys to enhance our wake...the question is where?? Not much room in the engine compartment, which leaves us with a storage area under a bench seat just in front of the engine OR the ski locker in the center of the boat. What's the best spot ? Any experience with this or recommendations ?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice !!!!!!!
Chris

Change the Fat Boys for fat sacs - they'll complain less about the cramped conditions in the ski locker. Laughing

You are just trying to sink the boat a bit reasonably uniformly. Not being familiar with the layout of your boat, the ski locker sounds the best bet.

Others may be able to contribute more precisely. It may be a case of suck it and see (as the bishop said to the actress!) Embarassed

If your using no weight, put 500-600 in the bow to start. If you want more, put some in the back. Generally ppl say for i/os put 60% front 40% rear. Trim the motor up 1/4 to 1/2 to clean up the wake.
