I'd have to say - it's probably not as much a family event as Midwest Wake Fest so if you're 'with kids' and you have to choose one or the other, you'll probably want MWWF... but if partying is more your style, Boot Camp all the way! Maybe I'll see you at both!

I believe it was the best weekend we had all summer! Definately looking forward to it again this year. Allready lined up the babysitter.

hey wakeangel9 i went to your website to check out this camp and was clicking through the pictures and came across this.....
thought you said your thing was more party and less family.... Question

now I have to go check out that other one you listed...........

jughed7, I think all J9 was saying, is that the atmosphere at MidWest Wake Fest is a little more condusive to a family atmosphere. It takes place at a marina/campground. Where as Boot Camp (which is an event, not a camp) takes place at a riverfront bar that kids aren't allowed inside after 8 or 9 pm.

Both events are a blast! If you are in the area, it's the place to be.

Yo J9, thanks for starting a post in the Ladies Lounge! There will definately be a ladies boat for Boot Camp this year again. I think they all had a blast last year too. To sum of the familyness of the event, it is an all ages event..... Saturday day, we have a tournament where any age can ride - A few of parents brought their kids to ride and we gave them all prizes and stuff and they went home after prizes were handed out. They are more than welcome to camp and stuff, and we would do our best to hook them up with a quiet campsite, but most of them do not, because you have to be 21 to go into the bar after 9:00 PM.
