I just had my best run, it may seem pretty basic to some of you but i'm stoked. I started with a TS indy backroll to indy tantrum to scarecrow(almost with a method grab) to a switch scarecrow to TS3 to Roll to revert and finished with a half cab roll.
I'm very pleased with the switch scarecrow it's the first one i ever attempted. Peace all. |

congrats. i personally dont think that it matters how basic your run was, only that you had a good time.
a friend of mine just had the best run of his life and hit nearly every trick he knew. i got it on video and its posted up here somewhere... _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

most of the time i'm riding trying to think about what tricks to do or waste a fall on and my riding isn't as smooth as i like, lately whats been working is to focus on slowing the board down looking at the horizon and then drifting in real slow like and then after my body is commited to the wake then turn my head towards it and light it up. i'm getting much more upward pop instead of low, fast and little air time. It's helping me stay relaxed and focused.
it took me a while to figure this out. Thanx |

forwaken- 02 vlx, 500ish in the back, 500ish in the front, wedge 23, and 6 people in the boat. we had to empty part of the rear ballast and move one person foreward (next to the driver) to get the boat to plain out. kevin rode at 80 feet and was goin 23.7 mph. hope this answered your question...this info was emailed to me from the owner of the boat.
i totally agree with Brian on the smooth riding. i 100% would rather watch someone who throws smooth ass 360s or 180s to a rider who hucks tantrums and looks real sketchy on the landing. plus the smooth riders look TONS better on video _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

Last season starting in April was my first dedicated year. last year at this time alls i could do is an occasional roll to revert and mabey an Indy grab. The year before that was my first year but i had no boat, board or anything else for that matter. i did ride alot last season. even though everyone loves to rag on waterskiing and kneeboarding i learned alot from doing that back in the day.PremierKid140, _________________ Raley cut everything! |
