Ok look im from a place in nj where wakeboarding is very rare. Most of my friends have never heard of wakeboarding...the only reason i know about it is becuz i boat in Maryland. So i have no access to a board shop. So i need some advice without the "go to a board shop and demo" Rolling Eyes

I am basicly a beginner. Confused I need a board that i wont grow out of in a few years...so i was wonderin if the Hyperlite Motive 140 with split bindings for 420$, the liquid force trip 138-143 with alpha bindings for 400$, or the Hyperlite Movement 140 wit varios bindings for 250$ would suit me good. Again il tell u im 190 pounds....13 years old....and 6 foot tall. I will prolly be progressing to intermediate this year with my friends new boat. i dont want a board that i will grow outa. Very Happy

Personally of those listed I would take the Trip, the alpha bindings are pretty cool, if you have any more choices I would try and look at the Liquid Force Evo. I think size for you should be atleast a 138, I ride a 139 and i'm about 160

Not sure what you mean, I've been riding 2 seasons. The size really just has to do w/ your weight, the bottom profile will be more what determines the riding skill required for the board...I personally ride a LF Team 139, I used to ride 132-134 but I think the larger board launches me further.

Look, you're a beginner. You don't yet know your style, so trying to buy a board that'll fit your style in a few years is going to be hard.

IMO You should probably buy a used board, figure out what your style is, then buy the board that fits it. Your not going to buy the right board the very first time.

You won't grow out of it, but it also won't fit your style.
