02 vs. 03 Absolute

I know that we usually frown on people asking questions like this...but I am in a position where I cannot demo any boards. I am looking at the CWB Pure and Flame, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these boards, or the 2002 or 2003 Absolutes...especially if you have ridden both boards and can kind of compare them.

I am coming off of a Parks, and like a lot of pop with soft landings (because of the knees)...so that is really my main question about the 2 boards.
