need cold weather storage advice

I bought my new boat and want to use it NOW. Currently it is still as I bought it from the dealer and I am looking to 'unwinterize' it. What advice does anybody have on proper maintenance, flushing etc. to prevent freezing until the nights get warmer. I have an inboard v-drive and a heater which are my primary concerns.

I always put mine back together after draining everything that way I don't screw up the next time I take it out and sink it. I know with my boat I drain the block on both sides then unscrew the hose to drain the heads. Next I disconnect the hoses for my heater and blow the line until I'm dizzy. The dealer should be able to tell you what to do and it only takes a few minutes after you ride to winterize it again usually.
