What are you supposed to look for when buying trucks? Do they have to be exactly the same size as the board, and are painted ones just as good as blank. How can you tell the strength of them? |

It's hard to tell how strong a set of trucks is by looking at them. As far as sizing, you'd want them to be the same width, if not a bit less wide. If my deck is, say 8" I'd probably get trucks that were 7-7/8 or so. And yes, blank trucks are just as good as painted ones - it's just a personal prefence thing. |

I like my trucks to be exactly the same width of my board, or as close as I can get. We can't really tell you what you want in trucks, we can tell you guide lines but only you your self can decide what suits you. _________________
