My set up last year was almost identical to yours(2000 malibu vlx). It worked really well except I didn't like the amount of bow rise I got so I put 400lbs of lead under the bow seating. this setup was the best iv'e had. I did notice the wake was a little nicer with more poeple on the boat so this winter I replaced the two 350lb rear bags with 500lb bags. I cant wait to try it out. And I now have the two 350lb bags to use if I dont have enough live weight.

Do you have an inboard outboard? If so and the 350 on each side of the engine is towards the back and have a sac in the locker you will want to put the weight more towards the front. Or maybe another sac on top of the locker. If you put the weight towards the rear it will make the wake more vert.
