Anyone who has one or has been pulled behind a boat with a Monster Tower...any thoughts? As solid as they say? Quiet? Much flex? Any cracks in the gel coat of the boat?
Their site has lots of positive feedback, anyone had problems?

I don't know about the Tower, but they make a great calendar. Very Happy

I can guarantee you, not to mention Monster Towers $$money back guarantee$$ that you will find this tower the best choice for the money you can buy. It is everything they advertise. Quiet tops the list, Strong comes in first as well. I put about 100 hrs pulling last season. 120 pounders up to 250 pounders, and not a creak or a squeak. There genuine service to make you happy is second to none. These guys are a great bunch of folks, and will help you no matter what!

It comes very nicely packaged right to your front door. Only caveat. Follow directions to the absolute letter! Torque wrench is a must. Folding down is easy, and depending on what boat and how you mount it, if you want to fold down, it may not rub anywhere (mine doesnt).

You can see mine (installed) by going to the Monster Tower web site/ Customer Photos/ Malibu -- mine's the first one on the Malibu page. or PM me and I'll send some detailed close-ups of the install.

PS. Addict - saw a copycat (sort of) on a Supra (I think) at the boat show last night. Poor copycat at that too! I'll send ya a cheesy photo!

i would definately reccomend monstertower. We put close to 70 hours on mine, possibly more and it has been great. no rattles and the board racks are good too. diyguy hit every other point perfect. shipped right to your door, folding is easy, and customer service is awesome Cool mine is also on the web site, under nautiques...the burgundy and grey 2001 (Kyle Taylor). Oh, and request a calendar also, it is great Laughing

I'm wth DiyGuy. Its a great tower for the price, but READ YOUR DIRECTIONS! I rushed through mine a little bit and didn't put the tread goop on the bolts resulting in cold welded bolts that had to be cut off. Not a big deal, but it could have been avoided.

My only comlaint is that I can't get mine to stay in place. No matter how much I crank on the bolts and use the set screws, it always shifts about and inch to the left. Once it is there, it doesn't move anymore, but it always goes back to that position. I'm willing to save my $1-$2k and deal with a slightly off center tower.

hey MonsterTower...what is the difference between the monster tower and the one supra has on their gg edition boat? It looks like the bases on supra's tower are spread farther apart.

Again, DiyGuy hit the nail squarely on the head with his comments, so I'd just second them. If you're into comparisons, I've got a black Monster on my red Moomba Outback. You can see pics of it on Monsters site under Customer Photos / Moomba. Mines the first boat listed (Mike Teague's Moomba) with the pretty blondes on board to make the tower look even better! Very Happy

Don't think you can go wrong buying a Monster for your boat.

Darty - When I saw a picture of the GG for the first time I thought it had our tower on it, looks close. Rather flattering if they used our tower as a template. The GG tower is a fixed tower made by Extreme Marine in TN (OEM/Factory sales only) and the legs do look spread quite far apart. Anyone got a measurement between front and rear base on a new GG?

89comp - you need to call us. Sounds like our job is not done yet. 877-778-6937 or 770-410-3451

Bill - I'll do it once the season starts. The boat won't move for another 3-4 months... Sad

This pretty much sums up my feelings right now with the new tunes in the boat and a new rope both feeling very lonely right now. Definately not PC, but it's how I feel

Thought you guys would like to know that the first thing I saw when I walked into the Mid-Atlantic Boat Show here in Charlotte was a Monster Tower mounted to a Chapperal (sp?)! It was a good feeling since my Monster Tower just arrived the week before. No Monster Tower dealers were present tho...hmmmmm...can you say business opportunity?
