Anyone know what diameter and thread pitch standard binding screws are? I thought they were 1/4 - 20, but that size is to large. I want to replace the ones that came with my bindings with stainless steel ones.

HeyPumpkin Head,

Mine are 1/4-20. My boards are '02 and '03 models. Maybe someone can tell if you give us the make and year of your board?

OK, mine are 1/4-20 also. I thought that was standard on all boards. I chased the inserts out with a bottoming tap and they worked fine. I guess there must have been some adhesive or something inside the threads on the inserts. Funny thing is, the screws that LF provided fit fine (actually a little loose) before I chased the threads on the inserts. Now the good quality stainless bolts I bought at the hardware store fit great. I hate those flat tip screwdriver type machine screws LF gives you. They're junk. Thanks for the feedback anyway.

HeyPumpkin Head,

My new board came thru with some epoxy or whatever in the insert that I had to chase out as well...
