OK, some help need here, that's for sure!!!???

I am having a delema....

Got a board for x-mas from the b/f. Well, I get to pick the board myself, I am at the point now that I HAVE to choose. I don't want to miss the season start!
I am tossing 2 boards around, not sure what I should get,

A Hyperlite Essence 131 '04, which I hear is more for Beginners (and same as a Fluid)

A Hyperlite Divine 134 '04, which I hear will help me progress more, and has a fast cut. (and same form as motive)

I am coming on my 2nd season, and didn't progress at all last year, I rode a Hyp. Fluid 137, with large mens bindings. That was a big set back for me!

Now, I want my own. I already have bindings, 30/60's x-small ladies.

So what do you think?

Go with the Divine - I've ridden the Fluid and the Motive and the Motive's a lot better choice IMO.

I think if you can't try them out, I think I would go with the divine. I went from a 143 to a 131 and it was a bit a of shock. I should have gone with just a little bit bigger board.

Ya, both of you just helped me a lot. I've been getting mixed feedback from people around me that I know, thought I would come here to finalize my decision.

Thanks, I think I will go with the Divine, the majority of people I talk to seem to think it will help me progress.
