| 2 years ago i moved from PA to south florida. Yes it really is a wakeboarders paradise. so far i dont think the water went below 65 deg. this year. I now ride 11 months of the year and thats without a wetsuit. I live around a few pro riders, and see them riding a little bit and i met all the pros on the pro tour. Ever think about moving to florida, well its pretty cool. |

My wakeboarding partner just went on a business trip to Fla. He called me on Tuesday while I was at work to let me know how great the weather was and that he was goin' boarding in the warm Florida water witha pro. Its good to be him I guess.
Enjoy your new home your very lucky to live there. I guess I'm pretty lucky to be living in Cali we have a good 8-9 months of board short weather every year. _________________ ......and one time at wakeboard camp. Come on people say something original. |

Who cares? Why is that relevant?
Quit glorifying pro wakeboarders. They're just people that can ride well. _________________ my demo reel

BEOTCH: Where do you ride in S. Fl? I moved here 2 years ago and love it.
WAKEDAD1: Who is your friend? I may have ridden with him on Wednesday! I rode with Scott Harwood and this guy from Discovery Bay who was on a trip. I can't remember his name right now. I think he was going to the Bahamas next. (Not Jamaica)
JUMALIAN: Give the guy a break, most people are excited to ride with pros and think it is cool, just b/c you don't care don't hate on him please. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

Hey, jumalian, i'm not trying to brag about meeting any pros, but trust me. if you ever lived up north , you would never have seen a pro rider in person. Hey, freakin beotch, you have no idea how many pros I've met. Heard of the Pro Tour? Malibu Just Ride Series? Boardstock? Hell, just the mention of the Delta and Lake Sammamish, the words "pro riders" go along w/ them. _________________ my demo reel

| hyperlife18, to answer your question about it being expensive to move there---from what i hear, in florida your average town house costs around $180-200(thousand)......in california your average town house costs around $400-450(bay area). the thing is, if you move from cali to florida then it is nearly impossible to get enough money to ever move back, it is sort of a one way trip i guess. If you like the weather in florida though, and you think it is for you, then i would do it in a heartbeat! |

freakin beotch, Im graduating in Jan. next year and moving down to Fl to gain residency for college. I can't wait to get out of this small town and meet some new people....especially people on the same page as me and with the same passion. Also to ride yearround!!!
Our 4 bedroom/3 bath house in Tahoe, NOT on the lake, is going for a little under $800,000. Im hoping to find some roomates (mabye one w/ a boat haha) and rent out a house on the lake.....that would be the life.....except for having to work fulltime... . But I can't wiat _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.

Right...but I can still suggest they not glorify them...is that so wrong?

There are hurricanes, there, too. There are states with lots of pros. That's not the selling point.

I doubt many people would consider this a suggestion, at least not a tactfull one!

wakedad1: Yes, Rob, that's it. He was a real good guy and Scott helped him with some of the basics. Rob picked it up real fast and I imagine you will see some real improvement the next time you guys ride. Scott's a great coach. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

as you can see by my sig i agree with joe.
anyhow, joe, hurricanes are only significant if you live on the coast. central FL is only mildy affected by them. and guess where all the lakes are? |

Yes he was getting air. Wake to wake no problem on HS. We didn't get to TS, it was freakin' cold (for us) and the binding set up was a little tight for his gargantuan feet. We were behind an x30. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

jumalian, I don't really know why you are jumping on freakin beotch for mentioning that he lives on a lake that a few pros live on too. Perhaps it's something he's excited about. For me, I'd be stoked.
In his original post, he mentioned that it was "a wakeboarder's paradise." If you lived on a lake and a pro or two lived on there too wouldn't you consider it a plus? _________________

Gawd, if i could pack up and move to Fl right now i would. I've went on vacation there just about every summer, and omg, the wakeboarding there is nice! i have a few buddies who live down there, all of em wakeboard, and they sed they'd never move! i think it would b awesome to live there, and yea meeting sum pros would be a perk! im lookin at movin there in a few years! gawd, i wouldn't mind it bein around 60 all year, im ky, there's barely anywhere 2 board, and if there is, u only have a max of about 5-6 months, dependin on how the weather goes! _________________ *wAkEbOaRd NaKeD! iT aDdS cOlOr To YoUr ChEeKs!*

| I'd like to be able to ride 24-7 but I just couldn't get myself to leave California. I love the west coast too much. I get to the East Coast and North is on the left and South is on the right, wtf, that is just not cool at all! I don't know I'm thinking about interning at The Wakeboard Camp, so I can at least try it for a summer. Anyone know how much houses or rooms or apartments cost to rent in Clermont? I know that I would miss the hell out of my beautiful hills, the one behind my house is 5 times the size of anything in Florida and it takes 30 minutes to walk up. End of work babble.... |

Pay no attention to jumalian, he's an angry little man who likes to take it out on people who post on wakeboarding sites...
