I hear that they are almost a spitting image of the Mutiny skates?? Any truth to that that you know of?

K-dub, i dont know. there is supposted to be a new skate coming out with them thats supposted to be a compbination of like all the boards. gate,swing,horrel,tech42

yeah...on thier website, the description of thier boards is almost exactly the way that Mutiny describes thier boards???

Russian, I think the site is liberationsports.com. They make wakeboards too.

Hmm... THe wakeboards remind me or Origin/ Joyride a lot. And yes they do sound very simialr to Mutiny

What does liberation have to do with mutiny? Arent they half way across the contry from one another? Question

and if I am not mistaken all the mutiny boards were made at taylor dykema, and liberation has their own factory. Sorry, just not sure what you all are talking about.

Nope, no ho. I just know both the guys building these products. Both of them have been in the snowboard industry since the begining and do some pretty cool stuff.

17 years manufacturing wakeboards?That would put us back to like 87.I don't know that much about the early history of wakeboards but wouldn't that put us on the original skurfer or possibly the earliest Hyperlites???Is this Hyperlites old manufacturer or who did they build boards for?

The guys at Liberation have been building snowboards since 1986, working with companies like Aggression, Ice Age, Never Summer ect. I think they started building wakeboards around 1992, I know he was the designer at Fulltilt and Origin.

That might explain why the boards have a very Origin/ Joyride look to them. I was big on origin when they were around, just for the durability of the products. Good luck to all the little guys out there... But why does there page and marketing approach have to seem so similiar to Mutiny??? I like Mutiny and I support them, copying the approach isn't the best way to build cred and support in this industry.
