alright...i made a post awhile ago with my new setup (enjoi, by the way, worked great while it lasted...actually it isn't even broke...it's just lost about all it's pop.) NOTE: THE SETUP INCLUDED RISER PADS. anway, i bought a element fiberlite and assembled it WITHOUT the riser pads (rode a little high) and even though i got the tensors all the way screwed on, you can still see space between the deck and the trucks...so i guess what i'm getting at is
does this hurt my decks performance enough that i should put the riser pads back on? |

How much space is in between the truck and the deck? You might wobble around a bit more then usual but I dunno how much it would effect you. Personaly I would put the risers on because it will give your board stress cracks quicker. _________________

You need to tighten the trucks some more. I dunno if you noticed but the baseplate of the Tensors have these little bumps at all 4 corners. Those need to dig into the deck. The design is to prevent the truck from being wobbly if the hardware gets loose. If you haven't dug those little nubs into the deck they're not gonna do their job. |

Not really, the nubs don't go deep. After a while you'll get stress cracks around 'em, but you get those around the hardware anyways with any type of truck so it's nothing new. |
