Let's hear some of your lake war stories so maybe it can help others not repeat them and entertain us.

One time I left the plug out of my dad's Sea Ray and had to do circles in the middle of the marina to keep a steady reverse draw on the water coming in. It was a weekend and the marina was packed and everyone was screaming at me to slow down(I was at a high idle speed) but I had to keep moving until my brother got his truck back down to the ramp.

I was once with a friend who had his ski rope ran over by some fisherman that had just launched their boat a free launch with and it yanked the rear end of the boat around until the rope broke. It also wrapped around thier prop and stalled their boat.

Once had a chick try and leap from the boat to the dock and it was wet on the boat. She slipped and landed on the side of the concrete/metal dock. It bruised her up pretty bad-but she was ok after a few days.

Well, there are a few of mine-let's hear yours![/list]

we were riding last year and this guy in a peddle boat comes out of a cove to where we were making passes. I was driving and gave him at least 2-250' of room and still he stood up and flipped us off and yelled and all that sh-t. I wasn't in the mood to get into it with some old prick so I went around the next point and started riding there. Low and behold 10 minutes later here comes this idiot peddling his dumb ass around the point like he was following us. So again I give him plent of room and he goes through the same act as before. So the next pass i cut the distance down to about 100' and when he started yelling I stood up and shouted "I LOVE YOU TOO SWEETHEART!". He got really pissed and turned around and went the other way.

SEVERAL YEARS AGO I BORROWED MY DADS $80,000 FISHING BOAT TO GO OFFSHORE. THE TIDE WAS WAY UP AT THE TIME AND THE CHANNEL GOING INTO THE GULF LOOKED DIFFERENT BECAUSE THERE WAS WATER WHERE LAND USUALLY IS. I WAS GOING FULL SPEED WHILE MY BROTHER WAS RIGGING SOME DIVE GEAR UP AND WASN'T PAYING GOOD ENOUGH ATTENTION AND RAN OUR BOAT UP ACROSS AN OYSTER BANK ABOUT 75 YARDS INTO 6 INCHES OF WATER. WE JUMPED OUT AND LUCKILY WERE ABLE TO PUSH IT BACK INTO DEEP WATER. THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS JUST SCRATCHES AND A COUPLE BROKEN STRAINERS ON THE OUTBOARDS. IT JUST SCARED THE S**T OUT OF ME!

A COUPLE YEARS AGO ON THE RIVER WHERE WE RIDE SOME GUYS BEAT SOME DUDE ALMOST TO DEATH FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. I THINK THERE IS STILL A REWARD OUT FOR THEM.

LAST YEAR A FRIEND BOUGHT FOUR BRAND NEW PWC'S TO RENT OUT FOR EXTRA CASH. THE VERY FIRST DAY BEFORE THEY WERE INSURED, SOMEONE HIT A DOCK AND TOTALLED ONE AND A BOAT HIT ANOTHER ONE AND ALMOST KILLED THE RIDER! SHE GOT OUT OF THAT BUSINESS!

I WAS SITTING ON THE BEACH NOT TOO LONG AGO ENJOYING THE SUN AND SOME GUYS WERE PULLED UP IN A BRAND NEW MASTERCRAFT. A DUDE PULLED UP BESIDE HIM IN A DRAG BOAT WITH A HUGE BIG BLOCK IN IT. THE THROTTLE GOT STUCK OR SOMETHING AND IT SHOT ABOUT TEN FEET INTO THE AIR AND LANDED UPSIDE DOWN ON TOP OF THE MASTERCRAFT. DESTROYED BOTH BOATS. THE MC OWNER WAS SICK! BUT LUCKILY NOONE GOT HURT.

I LIVE NEAR A RIVER WHERE ALOT OF DRINKING AND BOATING GOES ON, SO THERE IS ALWAYS MORE CRAZY STORIES!

BE SAFE---DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!

BMontgomery, man-I would definitely look for a new place to ride. It sounds pretty wild where you hangout!

I was pulling a first time boarder and this trihull is comiing up the middle of my wake. Well the trihull driver was distracted by his kids in the tube and obviously didn't see my newbie back there. If things weren't scary enough my rider fell so I basically flat spun my boat and charged this guy head on. He looked up at the last moment missed my rider by 2-3ft. The wally kept going like nothing happened so I got on my cell and called the boat ranger who I happened to know personally. The guy got a fat fine and was kicked off the lake that day.

Kinda along the lines of Turk's first story...

The fresh water intake hose on our boat broke and we were taking on tons of water so I pulled the plug and gunned the boat to the launch ramp. My friend swam to shore and pulled the truck down while I was keeping the boat moving.
