Does anybody have the 2003 byerly bindings, I like the olders models I just want to know what the new ones are like and what you think on the BOA system.

I think its a cool system, progessing the binding world a bit, but I wouldn't buy them. I would go for the LF ultras.

ultras are a pain in the ass to get in and out of compare to lace-ups like byerly's and belmonts

I got in fine with them, just used a little newt juice and they were on in a second with a good pull. I dont see the problem with getting them on and off.

I'd stay away. I've already seen a pair with issues. Within 1 1/2 weeks the boa cable broke.

I saw them at the shop. They look pretty sweet. I can't say they won't hold up, because I've never ridden them. I couldn't imagine that cable snapping unless you crank it down to excessive tightness. I think it was meant to be cranked to a good, snug fit. Not a circulation stopping, tight fit.

thier sick bindings. ive been riding them for the past few weeks and love them. they havent broke or nothin and ive been riding them as hard as you can. the only thing i had to do to them was trim down the heelpiece in the back center cuz it felt alittle high but i left all the plastic on the side of the heelpiece. also they are one of the easiest bindings to get into when you loosen the cable and one of the most comfy bindings. get a pair
