Just went to Big 5.
They have some really expensive dumbells (all cromed up and smooth) on clearance now!!!
I picked up 2 of each of the below
50lb - $15
45lb - $13.50
40lb - $12
They were normally priced between $99 and $85. I think they had a problem selling em so expensive so now they are getting rid of them. It works out to over 3lb's per $. Ohh, and they unscrew if you want em' to
I am going to through them into Jansport backpacks (lifetime warrenty right) and toss them between the truck and the boat _________________ out. |

The other day as I was passing one of those "classifieds" bulletins at the grocery store, I saw one of those all purpose/all exercise machines. The guy wanted 2-300$ for it, or something close to that. I would think that with the weight plates alone you'd probably have 5-600 lbs out of that at least. Now this was in the middle of nowhere in OR, but I wouldn't think this sort of thing would be rare. There are a lot of options out there if one is willing to look.
peace

| That's funny Pope. I just had the same experience. Used sporting equipment stores are great for those types of weights. The Play-It-Again Sports by me has weights for $.29 a pound. I'm going to pick up a hundred pounds in dumbells and actually had the same idea of keeping them in a backpack for easy loading into the bow. |

You know you're a redneck when.......
You got river rocks for ballast.
You invite 300lb big bubba to sit up in the bow. |

| I'm gonna wait until the last day of the boat show. My friend got lead with the covering for 35 cents a pound last year on the last day. |
