i feel your pain, we recently had a problem replacing the back seat in an older mastercraft. the boat should ride well, have heard they ride great in rough water(no personal experience). Have you tried JOA Marine yet...sure you have but if not, give them a try. Also, sometimes you can try to contact mastercraft direct and they may be able to help. Are you looking for the original decals, or trying to update them? You can probably get the newer decals fairly easily. Good luck with your search. do you plan to put a tower on the boat?

and ask arround i know there is some guy that has about everything for the 225.
or search the archive.
i was in the same situation once...i made all the parts myself.
actually it is a simple job..i used aluminium but it not original.

sink the swimplatform about 2 inches and you have a big nice rampy wake
lets hope the rubrail in the back is in good shape as it sits under water.
mine leaked and it was a major project.
remove engine and fiberglassed the rubrail all the way to the rearseats.
if you have any questions about this type of boat..ask me.
i know this boat inside out,we make 500+ hours every season and removing the engine is a standard winterize thing to me...it is only 1,5 hour work.
another tip...connect a permanent grease jerk to the rudder on a flexible cable to a grease gun. you need to grease this thing every 50 hours. i also placed an extra bilge pump right behind the rudder it is the lowest point in the boat as you pull up..keeps the bilge dry..we drain our ballast into the bilge.

Hey RIVERSIDE.....how,how much, and where do you put the weight in the boat...Thanks I bought this thing in rough shape, and I have never even had it in the water...I have had mastercraft 190, and 205's before, but this is my first maristar....I have alot of work to do on it, but i paid less than 6 for it...and the work is all cosmetic, so I dont mind....Thanks again!!!

hi skurfsup,
if you ever, ever, ever, see another 225 for 6k please let me know.
cosmetics doesn,t change the performance of the boat, but it just looks nicer.
my tower is a homemade brew.i make all my gadgets myself, heater, tower, tower speaker, lights racks, ballast etc...i live in europe and there is no way i,m gonna pay 3500$ for a tower while i can make it myself for less than 600.
the wake is a bit wide but you,ll get used to it.
my set-up is 150lbs in front(just for the bowrise)700 in front of the backseat and 175 in each compartment near the engine i think this is the best set-up for 4 people.(with the standard 18x14 prop)
the dash:
take the old one out..make a pic of the gauge connections or write them down.it is very simple only the tacho meter has an extra wire.
get a piece of aluminium with a pattern you like and copy it....simple.
about the extra bilge pump with "mmmh how you call this thing in english" automat???...it is a pain in the A** to mount it there i did it when the engine was removed...for the connection just wire it up in series with the original one.
you can route the wires under the fueltank there is some extra space left for all the wires that go back into the engine compartment.

if you have some pics would you please send them to me???

Thanks for the info...I will post some pics this week some time. I have a direct drive maristar, and I am guessing that yours is a v-drive from what you have said. I am working on getting some of my interior re-done right now, and I will be going to tennesee sometime this week to get more parts for the boat. How long is the riding season in Europe???
