Rather than soaking the wood to bend it (which can warp the wood), just use 3 sheets of 4mm ply (that bend easily anyway) and use some Evo wood glue between the sheets. Lay the sheets on top of each other with plenty of glue. I but a wine bottle under each end and a load of weights in the middle to create the right amount of rocker. Use clamps or Duck Tape to keep the edges together and leave overnight to set. Then just cut the board shape out and sand it down. I usedd gloss paint to waterproof it (or you can use varnish) and grip taped the top.
Very Happy

i built a jig to bend and clamp the ply's together while the exterior grade wood glue drys and use marine epoxy to seal the edges. I have a picture but cant figure out how to put it on here.
