Who thinks he was pushing best in the world when he died?
I think (after watching much footage of both riders) he was almost as good or better than parks, which in my opinion is the best US rider?
Just getting what everything thinks of him...this post will raise some good conversation i bet!!

| I wouldn't compare him to Parks, I do think that you can call him the best rider. He wasn't doing some things that Parks was but Jesus he was doing some things Parks could only dream of. Did you see his switch mobe 20 feet into the flats? I also think he was way more intense & huge on every trick than Parks, that makes it exciting to watch. |

I had the pleasure of riding in the boat several times for Mark. I've also ridden in the boat for Parks.
I have never seen anyone go as high or be as smooth as Mark. Also have never seen someone learn sh*t so easy. He learned a method roll to blind first try, a HANDLE PASS KGB 5 in one set, he was amazing.
Parks definaltely has him on rails, but I'd put my money on kenney for best ever off the wake. It was a tragedy he died before anyone really appreciated him. _________________ Sooo, you're saying I have a chance... |

xtremebordgurl, check out www.waketv.com for information about vids with Mark on them. Jocko did a remembrance vid which was amazing, and the proceeds went to help Mark's family. There is also WakeTV #14 which has a great set of Marks riding.

Mark was DEFINITELY on his way to the top. What stoked me out the most was the fact that his first year on tour, he was able to give the major players a run for their money. A lot of riders need a couple of years to really get used to that type of competition and then be successful (ruck, shane, chad sharpe, etc. Lots of riders) but he was on point from the start. And as others have said, he was capable of some very amazing tricks. Awhile back in the canadian wake mag, they had a sequence of mark doing a fairly large air front mobe and that always impressed me because he was one of the only riders I've ever seen do that trick. I most definitely wish he was still here and I cried when I found out he was gone. _________________ J.L.A. Is Snowboarding

mark died from a reaction to a painkiller, his heart stopped while he was sleeping, electricsnow, i think a lot of people cried, its a distressing thing to hear...
having met mark, and known what kind of kid he was, it was very distressing finding out he died, i am currently making a tribute slideshow to send to wake (aus mag) and maybe marks family to show how much influence he had on wakeboarders from all over the world,
i was very fond of watching mark ride, he had a defining style that can only be seen, not described....
Mark is riding on I bet! _________________ {R.I.P Mark Kenney}
