|

It looks like wakeboarding has really hit the big time now with wakeboarding products available to be purchased on Amazon.com.
The cool thing is that the products are actually sold by our sponsors like Buywake.com and Wakeside.com.
It'll be interesting to see if buying wakeboarding products through Amazon becomes popular, or if people stick to ordering directly from the online shops or buying locally. _________________ Pat McCarthy |

Looks like they're just Hyperlite and O'brien products. That's typical, as they're sold in sporting goods as well. I wonder if other companies will follow suit.
So, in your opinion, is this good news for the sport? _________________ my demo reel

Well, I'm always split on wakeboarding getting bigger. I like to see it grow and for all the companies to do well, but I also enjoy the lake not being crowed!
I think it's probably good for the companies involved to get more exposure and reach a larger base of people. However, it'd be nice if the users still purchased from the shops like Buywake and Wakeside directly so Amazon didn't get their cut. No point in really helping Amazon out. _________________ Pat McCarthy |
