I weight my feet about the same as on a wakeboard but keep my rear foot on the kicktail like you would on a sk8 board

I usually move around alot, depending on what I'm trying to pull. But yeah usually back foot right on the tail, front foot about 3/4's up. Just play around and see what you like. I think some skates have failry skinny tails so if you have kong feet, like me, your back foot will hang off too much and can cause face to water action.

Ok, thanks. I'm making a grip tape one at home. Is there any other type of shoe you can wear or are skate shoes the best?

i wear shoes made for wakeskating. they are much lighter when riding because the sides are made of mesh and wont soak up as much water as normal shoes do. they also dry faster

I've found that the wakeskate is much easier on the legs to ride than a wakeboard. Something about being locked to the board takes it toll on the leg bones. I feel much free'r on the skate. Until I eat crap! _________________ twins? TWINS?? |

Does the water wreck your skate shoes though?
