| I hate the cable and not a huge fan of TSR, but they have some pretty sick skaters out there. If you ever want to ride a boat in Austin, lemme know. I have a few good skaters who ride with me. |

i like watching the ski ranch riders, but i'm not into cable riding. I suck behind the boat, it's even worse once i get behind a cable. _________________

It's just not my thing, I don't like the way it jerks you around and don't like having to walk 15 minutes on sharp gravel after a fall to get back to the dock. That's just my opinion, though. I know some really really good cable riders who are sick on the skate and that's so awesome. Skating is hard enough behind a boat, can't even imagine skating on a cable. It's just different opinions, I don't have a problem
As far as TSR, my opinion about it is that it's a great place for people to go who don't have access to a boat and it's a great part of Texas extreme sports. My personal experiences there are that I have not been treated super well and an hour on the cable costs as much as 3/4 tank of gas in my boat, plus gas to drive from Austin. But, I'd go back again if it wasn't so expensive and to change it up. |

Sorry didnt know
In my country, at our cable the people are really nice, it costs about 25 dollars for the whole day and like 600 dollars for the whole season-6 months. And if you fall they come to take you with a boat... |

| Yea I've been to TSR for the cable tour this year and I loved it. Me and my friends from OWC all went out there. We got to stay in the doublewides in the back of the complex b/c it was the end of the week and they don't have the summer camp over the weekend, saved us money as opposed to getting hotel rooms. I love that place, the only thing was that i had to take off my shoes every time I feel b/c of the slimy mud that got all over your feet when you try to get up onto shore. I should be back there for cablestock with some other people, can't wait. Everyone there is super cool and fun to hang out with. |

I ride TSR frequently and have been to camp there and I say hey I have access to a boat but not a perfect A-frame or kicker and I like the consistency of the speed its set at 19.4mph and never changes unlike my distacted dad driving my only ride. Its about 36 bucks for an all day pass and hey I'd rather get there early and stay late spend 12hrs riding for 36 dollars with almost unlimited riding. Oh and Miss Jade they have poured a concrete sidewalk almost all the way around the lake now so no foot injuries! Plus there is usually one or two pros there who are always willing to give me some advice on my next trick! only down side to me is that sick ass MUD!! _________________ Slob Gear

| I've been to TSR once, I enjoyed the trip. The day I went it was raining a little bit so there was almost no one there. I rode for 4 hours straight with no break except walking around the lake. It was definately uncomfortable to walk around... partly because of mud and rocks. I enjoyed my trip. It was definately nice to have good sliders and kickers about but I like the boat more. Although you can get good air off the kicker I found myself getting bored with the obstacles and looking for pure wake riding. I don't know how much I'll go back because we've got a boat by Canyon lake that I can use any time for cheaper than it costs me at the ranch. Also the 19.5 mph they pull me isn't fast enough. I need to be going at least 22mph. For skating it seems like it would be awesome though. I boarded when I went. I always feel bad for the driver when I wakeskate because I fall so much but at the ranch it doesn't matter. Plus you get consistent obstacles and theres plenty of tricks to try on a wakeskate with no wake. I think I might skate next time I go, we'll see. |

TSR is OK... I agree with Jade's comments. I've had some bad experiences with the people that work there, but have also had some good ones. Every once in a hwile it's OK. I would never become a cable junkie out there, not my thing. The cost put throw $$ to any of my friends for a day on the lake beats the price of the cable hands down IMO. TSR has a lot of good things too it, I don't wantit to sound like I'm harpingon them for everything. I just usually go now when there is a baot contest to chear friends on, get drunk and buy shizzle. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4.
