Blank Tower Speakers

ok, I've been looking at tower speakers, but I just cant find anything that comes blank w/o speakers in it already. I'm planning on using Alpine Type R 6 1/2" (SPR-176A's) midwoofers and 1" tweeters in a set of blanks on the tower.

any ideas?

BIGMAC sent me a link to an ebay auction of some empty Boss cans that he's considering bidding on. I would PM him if you want more info- since he was kind enough to share this w/ me directly, I'm going let him make the decision as to whether post it publicly.

On a side note, I'm most likely to fabricate my own- since I have access to CNC mills and machinists that can do custom parts. Depending on the outcome of that, I may end up manufacturing some of my ideas and taking them to market. Shocked

there just isn't enough profit in selling blank cans. people looking for blank cans want them cuz they don't want to pay $700 or more for speakers so they are looking for a bargain. it's actually fairly expensive to build decent aluminum cans and mounts but people only want to pay $200 for them so you can't make any money.

DOH!, I should have read Ruune's post... I'm sure you pointed him to the Boss B530's that were on Ebay. Those were sweet, I bid $350 for them but got beat out by $30. Oh well...
