So its december and you are finding fewer riders on your boat when you ride. WTF Pu$$ies. One word ....DRYSUIT!!!! Thanks for leaving us alone on sammamish. we really enjoy having the whole lake to ourselves. Note the air and water temps below. Thanks for the pull cliff. Next time wakeboarding in the morning and snowboarding in the afternoon.

I went riding today...same air temp (53) but the water was 64. Honestly, I don't think a 16 degree drop in the water temp would have made much difference with the full wetsuits. The water barely leaked in anyway and only while we were actually in the water, which isn't much.

So anyway, my answer is definitely Hell Yeah! It's nice being the only boat on the water from 1-4pm on a Saturday (except for two sail boats and a pontoon boat with a fisherman).

It's nice though: having a hot shower and dry clothes waiting at the Marina (don't even fukin say anything about a lake house! Evil or Very Mad

).

Now, the people that are still riding...they don't call themselves, the "Northwest Hardcore" for nothin'. You should see their hardcore sticker! It clearly shows their hardcoreness.

By the way, there's a HUGE difference when the water temp is 16deg colder than what you rode in.

yeah, you are a friggin comedian! not a very funny one but hey, you try. so lets set things straight, northwest hardcore isn't my deal, i like the softcore personally, it leaves more to the imagination. I ride with those guys and if they want to call themselves hardcore...then so be it. How about your self proclaimed auburn army? Mr Tacos: There is a HUGE difference between those water temps. In fact once it drops below 55 it seems each degree is like 10!

I know there is when you are sitting in the water...scuba diving for instance (I have dived in 50-degree water before and I know it's very different than 65-degree water). For wakeboarding though, I barely even got any water in my wetsuit.

Although I´m still in Spain (but only 11 more days!), I can´t wait to ride when I get back. BTW, I´m from Gig Harbor and I go to school at PLU, so if you ever need a third up on Sammamish let me know. And although it´s not in my possession right now, at some point in the near future I´ll have some new DoubleUp stuff for anyone in the area who´s interested in trying something out. Cool. joe- your bathtub hardly counts as a private lake!!! haha. funk-kevin is gone, chester is fully hooked on wakeboarding and looking forward to next season. bonnie is almost to the point of going all surf and no riding, she is a ripper on the broadcast and says it doesn't hurt as much. i guess after breaking 5 teeth and spraining an ankle, i can't blame her. damn this cold weather....oh well to the mountains we go. let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

otiswunguy, thats totally cool the stoke is as strong as even. Bonnie is one tough cookie. That day she started spittin out teeth and still wanted to stay one the boat,was,I can't think of another word than hardcore. Big props to her new love for surfin. Maybe we all can take a mountain trip and you all can teach me how to board in the snow.
