I say get a canon powershot s30 or s40.... That's what I learned the basics on, and now I got a canon EOS-300D. If your just starting, you won't outgrow the powershot before a little while, because it still got manual settings on it, and delivers some really good quality images.
One plae you may want to look it is www.dpreview.com _________________ Now even tough I know there's NO one in here that lives anywhere near Montréal, if you ever feel like riding, just pm/e-mail/msn/whatever else me |

There is another thread on this exact subject with some good suggestions - just scroll down. I was using an Olympus C-730 Ultrazoom and it worked pretty well for wakeboarding pics. As with most low-end digital cameras you have to get used to the shutter lag. |

im pretty esperienced with shutter lag cuz my current camer has bad lag. the other topic is on better cameras so i figured i could start a new topic on the 3-4 MP cameras. i was looking into a Kodak Dx6340 and was wondering if anyone on here new anything about this camera or quality of lenses etc. and how it was at taking pics and stuff. |
