|
|
| I have the wiring already installed. Just wondering where you can buy the remote, like the new Clarion Digital WaterProof one? Also, I have never drilled or cut into the fiberglass on my boat and was wondering if there are any hints, tips, advice, any of you could give me? Thanks.

With the Clarion remote you will need the cable and a Clarion deck that will accept the remote. To drill the hole you use a hole saw. It is easy to do.

Phaeton hit it right on...only other thing you will want to do is make sure there is nothing behind where you were putting it. I made that mistake...ooops!
I have in stock one of the new digital remotes. You will also need a remote power wire to it also for the lights in it. Shoot me an email if you would like one. We are closed today b/c of the ice storm, but I can send it out tomorrow afternoon no problem. info@boatsnboards.com
Or just call me at the shop...

I found a Clarion remote for the transom. It's not the digital one.
List for $79 and comes with 20' of wiring. Below is the link.

I'm thinking about getting one also. I would like some suggestions to the installation location also.

| I'm starting to think that I might not go with the digital. Power needs to be run back to it and that is just more work. Wait a minute, I'm not lazy, I'll do it. Maybe. It costs like $149.99 or something. What a rip!

That's what I thought. This version is much cheaper and may blend in better on a silver cloud hull......Anyway, let me know how it goes.....and where you mount it.
