I don't know your level, but I out grew mine very fast. Its a 2000, I still have it and I always start begginers on it. Its is a great learning board but onceI figured my stuffout I wanted something with more of an edge that was more agrresive. I nowhave a cwb prodigy, and I am looking into an absolute. I would recommend not narrowing yourself just down to the womens specific boards.

wakebaby, like JRock*Girl said, I wouldn't worry too much about a femal board. Just make sure you get the right size. Since you're probably a beginner, then just get something to learn on, the luscious would be fine. Once you get up and start learning stuff, you'll start to get an idea of what you're looking for. It really took a bunch of riding before I understood my style and preferences and could really distinguish which boards fit me and which didn't. Until then, it reallly wouldn't make sense to spend a lot of money on a board. Just make sure the size is right, and try to get a continuous rocker, it's more forgiving. The Belmont is an awesome all-around board. They should be pretty cheap right now. Good luck.

I'm with JRock and MissJade, don't narrow your search down to just a women's board. If you are a beginner start out with a beginner's board, one you can progress and learn on. I started out on a Hyperlite Juvi and I was able to ride it for a couple years, it was an easy board to learn on and I loved it. Once you get better and have advanced a little, look into getting a more advanced board. I now ride a HL Premier 135 and I love it!

Hm, yeah, don't limit yourself to female boards. The only good thing about them is light. But they are actually no different from other boards except girls graphics. If you ain't looking for anything expensive, try hyperlite essence/divine/juvi. You can usually get good deals(with bindings) with these boards esp now it's nearing the end of year, check out those closeout deals!

Hm, I would recommend Liquid Force Trip(any year). This board is quite a good one to start off and it can last you quite long...

Most importantly: DEMO THE BOARDS to see if they suit you first!!

i agree with all the other girls, i had an essence, but got a 135 premier like 2 weeks later, and i love my premier, its forgiving but you can go really far with it.

i would suggest a board with removable center fins that also have canted side fins or molded side fins. LIKE THE LIQUID FORCE TRIP. Oops sorry that caps lock was on. they are good for learning just about anything. take out the center fin and its perfect for spins cus its super forgiving if you overrotate or underrotate cus it wont catch as easily and leave the center fin in or out to get a great cut into the wake and really lay on your edges. Take out the center fin to learn surface tricks and butterslides.

Just starting out? I have a great board for you. It is a Collin Wright 137 Double up, with a continous rocker and fins for a stable smooth ride. It's great if your just starting out and you won't grow out of it too quickly. I'm selling it for about $100. If your intersted let me know and I can send a picture and more info.

When I demoed my board (Liquid Force Diva 34) I also looked at the LF luscious. The guy at the board shop told me that it was a good board but given that I already had a season in on the LF Evolution he said I would likely quickly outgrow it. I love the board and it is just right for me. If you go to a good boardshop they should let you demo a few boards and let you know which one you will likely outgrow. It all comes down to how you feel on the board, how aggressive you are and how far you intend to progress. Not everone will be an Emily Copeland!!!! You may not need or want a more advanced board. I am sure you have heard it before but definitely demo all the boards you are interested in. Each one will likely feel slightly different.
If you decide to start with an easier board, see if the shop has a trade up policy so you can get a discount next season if you want a better board. The shop I deal with does and it is great!!!! My friend has traded up twice and we are all happy with the treatment we get there. I hope you find the perfect board for you. Wakeboarding is the best!!!
