If you have seen the Alliance you know what slider Im talking about. The dragon A-Frame at Radar Lake. I wanted a new challenge so we built it minus the down ramp because of cost and its better to just come off the end and do 3's and blind 270s. The whole thing is covered in double smart deck and is 60' long. Perfect.

There are four that are slideable, one needs some reconstruction. Plus back up by our friends house he got a Rave inflatable to play on but they blow, plus we have an A-Frame made of smart deck over there too. Look for some more to be built in the future.

the projects, are you pat that actually builds all the sick sliders at THE PROJECTS? I always try to get ideas from yall cuz there is some sick stuff out there that I want to put on our lake. We started a land gap but it didnt get done in time before we all went back to school during the summer, maybe in another week when were all back itll get built. Hope to get out the PROJECTS this summer for a week or two and ride those sliders.

hey whats up yes this is patrick panakos. im stoked that you think the rails i build are good. paul obrien gave me the oppertunity to go to radar lake and build the rails for the hyperlite vid. even though we were sledging metal post into rock that was the most relaxing time i had, i love seattle and thier gloomy weather. im over the florida sun. thats tight you thought the one i built was good and decided to build your own, that makes me happy. it came from an idea parks and i were throwing around on the ride back from the x-box powell trip. watson and i are building a new one at the projects which is a spin off form the radar lake one, i think it will be better in a different way.
keep up the building
later
project pat

new ideas we have. most are spun off from already existing stuff in the mags but i changed some stuff around. someone needs to start a sick slider park in Texas. Its not fair Orlando has all the riders to push it and noone around here pushes the sliders hard at all. Keep inspiring us Pat.

the only downside to your slider is that there isn't one. a downward slope that is. at radar lake parks ollies up three feet onto the rail in the opposite direction ollies off the top clearing the whole lower rail and landing on the transition. true balls and talent. you guys have the setup, i am jealous. they won't let the public hit the rails at radar Sad guess you guys have the next best thing. Pat, major props on radar, they are all sick and well built, i will see if i can post some pics from the back yard tour so people can see your quality work.

dragon85, those are some cool drawings youve got there. question though? are those land gaps you drew? like the picture of the sliders, flat, to slider or stairs down. they look like they are boxes or somethin but how would u get somethin that big floatin out in the water. just wanted to know what your idea was.

Yeah they are land gaps. Another sick note. We are good friends w/ the hyperlite rep and 2 weeks ago he brought Chad Sharpe down on a thursday and I didnt get home from new york til friday. Anyways Chad destroyed that slider like nothing. BS boardslide up to blind 180 gap to the very top w/ a fs boardslide to blind 270 out. I missed it but my buddies got to ride in the boat and taped it. Sick and he is totally chill. Go to hang with him at last years Ft. Worth stop for several hours. Yeah one newbie did get hurt on the double kink after we told him SEVERAL times to learn on the flat bar but he had to try the double kink. He slid out on the first up and hit one of the post cracking his tibia clean in half and gettin taking away in an ambulance, but the slider is still solid as ever and still in place. Bad news is that they are dredging our creek in the coming winter and will be tearing all 6 of our sliders out. Were going to try to disassemble all of them and take the wood up in the woods til a later date to redo it. Total bummer
