700 pounds isnt going to do that much, you need some more weight. But just evenly spread the weight out as far as side to side then put most the weight in the back and some in the bow to help the boat plane off. This might not make the wake as good as it could be so just play around with the weight.

WELL, I HAVE A FAT SAC, BUT I CAN ONLY PUT IT BETWEEN THE ENGINE BOX AND THE BACK SEAT. SO TOTAL, I HAVE APPROX. 1300LBS. OF WEIGHT.
THE WAY I HAVE IT NOW IS 350LBS. UNDER THE REAR SEAT, FAT SAC IN FRONT OF THAT, AND 350LBS. UNDER PASSENGER AND DRIVER SEAT UP FRONT. DOES THAT SOUND ABOUT RIGHT?

What's up Diesel!!! You ready to kick it this summer at Harris...
You should be fine with the lead like that. definately want more than half the total weight in the back, but I'd play around with it till you get the wake just right. From what I've read the more weight you place toward the rear the rampier your wake will get. The more you balance it to the front the bigger it will get but will lose the vert at the top. This probably very's from boat to boat but this is what I have seen with Nautiques.

YEAH, I'M READY, JUST WAITING ON THE WEATHER! I'VE ONLY HAD THE BOAT IN ONCE SINCE THE UPGRADES, SO MAYBE I'LL GET IT DIALED IN PRETTY QUICK.
I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE SIZE OF YOUR WAKE! IT WAS HUGE BEFORE! Shocked WE SHOULD BE SEEING THE MUTANT BEAVER SOON, WEATHER PERMITTING. Very Happy

More weight towards the back= vert

kschroeder, your post is all messed up.

He never said either was vert. Rampier with weight in back. Bigger/less vert with weight in front. That sounds like the same thing.

BIGMAC is right.

although lead takes up much less space than fat sacs, you can't dump the weight when you are done. i hope you don't trailer your boat with all that lead in it.
