I have a Cobalt 240 with no tower but plan on getting one this winter didn't know if anyone out there has gotten a tower for a Cobalt. I know their are universal ones but haven't haven't seen any I like. There is only one that is for a Cobalt but it's all Stainless Steel and runs about 3800 bucks. Also looking to add some fat sacs in the engine compartment on both sides for weight next season. Has anyone ever modified a pump and mounted flo-jets for intake of water to the sacs and to pump water in like a real ballast systemon like a mastercraft. I was just thinking about getting 2 of the smaller sacs like 300lbs. or so and putting one on each side and buying some sort of industrial small pump and wiring it to an accessory switch and take my boat to the dealer and have them bore the holes for the flo-jets and mount them and all run all the hoses myself. On a boat with a real ballast system does it use the same flo-jets to take water in and pump it back out or have a set on the bottom of the boat to bring water in and then some above to pump it out through the bilge or just reverse the pump and pump it out a diff. set of flo-jets. Thanks a lot. _________________ Chris Wilds
We have built several towers for Cobalt boats. Every tower we manufacture is fully custom made for a specific boat which is the only way to go with a Cobalt. Check us out www.wakeair.com
