I built my own! I went for 8 feet high! I used aircraft grade aluminum and cost me like $150 but I'm sure that you could get a local alum-fab person to build you one for much less money and they work great. The nice thing about building your own other then the money is the height is up to you, and you can power coat it any color you want. if you want my plans let me know. _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

| Actually the reason I'm looking to buy one is I've been waiting for a year now for my local machinist to make me one.I drew up plans and bought stainless[$250] and he told me he would do it.The problem is I live in a bit of a boom town being so close to whistler that he's crazy busy.I'm sick of being put off, next week ,oh this emegency just came up.He's a redneck so loggers and construction excavators come first.Anyways I'm making him buy the metal back from me and putting the money towards a no headache tower. It's looking like monster now as nobody even seems to own one of these towers to get some feedback. |

I had a big air pylon on my sea ray.....was ok. The only thing i didn't like was that the attach points were a little wide, which made it hard to dock/tie up. If you can mount on top, might be better.
Didn't have any other issues...if u wanna see pics, email me.
