i just bought a new board tell me what ya think...i'm worried most about the deck...
7.5 enjoi deck
7.75 Tensor Mids
52mm Ricta Wheels
Flip ABEC5 bearings
i haven't had any experience with enjoi...thought i'd try something new...i've heard that either:
A) They kick ass and last forever
B) They chip pretty quick
whatcha think? |

They are made from shitty wood and will lose there shape pretty fast I hear, but depending on how you skate they could last a long time. Just depends if you like skating a deck with no shape. |

Well the way SkiSk8er1287 skates, it will prolly go pretty fast, we (me and him) like to mess around w/ different tricks. also, when i mess around on his board(becuase i dont have my own) the board usually lands on the back, causing it damage/chips _________________ I'd rather die trying than live wondering

When they break that easy you must be wondering what people are doing to them? Maybe there not landing over there bolts or something? A deck is pretty hard to break, there made of ply and ply doesnt break easy. My first skate board ages ago was thin and well I dont think it was even made of ply but I could still ollie and stuff easy and it never broke for like 6 or 7 months. (keep in mind I usually take lots of care with my decks and thats probably where people go wrong, throwing there decks aroud.) _________________

Depends on the deck. I've ridden Habitats & DNA's into the dirt without breaking 'em. I think ultimately I retired 'em 'cuz they were so old & haggard, but they never broke.
However, I've had other decks like Birdhouse, Hook Ups, Foundation, & Black Label chip or delaminate on a bad flip trick attempt. I've seen 2-day old World Industries boards roll into a wall after the skater falls off & completely delaminate.
But it's true, lotsa skaters bust their boards by throwing 'em or something. I've done that myself a few times. |
