You can go to any Boater's World or other marine store in your area. They should have a couple different brands of teak kits.

Actually, there's no such thing a 'teak' oil. It's basically a cut down tung oil. Usually with some orange coloring added.

6 parts tung to 1 part mineral spirits. You cut it to decrease the drying time.

Save yourself the money and use Automatic Transmission Fluid (the red kind) It's way cheaper and better than the teak crap you can buy.

Don't really know that I'd go with tranny fluid. Quite a few have some detergent in them. I prefer to stay away from most petroleum products with a wood application.

Tung oil is pretty cheap. You can get it a hardware stores. Also, boiled linseed oil is pretty good.

Teak oil is like coke is to water. You wouldn't drink coke to get the water. So, you shouldn't use teak oil to get tung oil....hehe.

OK, put the beer down and take a DEEP breath. Now, breathe out. Better? Laughing
