Sweetest looking trick?

In your opinion, what is the best looking trick you have seen any one do? Oh yeah and does any one know what this is? Its like a kick flip except you go to like grab where you would roast beef but instead of grabbing your slap the board making it spin as it would with a kickflip then ladn on it.

IMO, a Mc Twist or Dark slide are cool.

I agree with darkslide, but McTwists are pretty darn cool too.

Never seen anybody do the trick you're describing. I've seen Rodney do a variation of that, where he fingerflips & then slaps it back the other way.

darkslides for sure, and pretty much everything else rodney does. any really long grinds. as for in the pipe, i'm not sure who, but someone did a no grab 540 that looked pretty sick imo.

i don't really know the definition of a finger flip, but thats all i could think of.

nollie back side flips or a back side lip or when they do a 360 but they'll do the first 270 then tap the rail like a board or lip slide then do the final 90 off it looks sick. geoff rowley does them in sorry

Yeah the finger flip thingy waht ever you wanna call it isnt comething i can do. I can do them if i get a truckless board and chuck it on the tramp but no where else, id need a good nuff ollie. Maybe if it was to be done it would be a vert sort of trick.

somepunk22, a finger flip would be like when you grab the nose (not all the time i dont think) and flip the board like that. If you've ever seen rodney skate he does heaps of them.

Why not make it complete and say kick back tail fakie? Backside Tails are the sh*t! Love doing them, love seein' them done...

Greg Lutzka (sp?) absolutely kills it. I saw him at the Gravity Games and a couple weekends ago at the West49 Open and he's got the sickest style. 270 lipslides, kickflip back lips, sooo many sick tricks in his runs that other people wouldn't even try. One of my fav. skaters right now...

Lotsa guys have done ollie 540's, you can go a LOT further back than Opinion & see it. Yes, Opinion has 540 ollies, but so does Questionable. Matt Hensley does a fakie 540 over a picnic table. Tony Hawk's been doing ollie 540's for years. Lotsa documentation, it's a cool move.

Yes. If you 540 & don't grab they say ollie 540. If you grab then they say the name of the grab & then 540 (ie mute 540, tailgrab 540, etc).

I dunno about ledges, it'd hafta be a pretty big ledge to get a 540 off it. I'm sure somebody could do it though. In One Step Beyond Bam does a nollie 5 off of a little hump at FDR. Then like I said, in Questionable Matt Hensley throws a fakie 5 over a picnic table. I've seen guys bust cabs off of ledges easily, I think if they really went for it they could turn it into a 540.

Its probably just a trickthat isnt really popular. I can land caballerials off ledges easy but i think it would be a bit of a mission to get that extra 180 around.

I agree. If you watch how fast the guys hafta spin to get the 540 you can see how easy it'd be to just screw it up. With a 360 you can spend a little more time on the rotation.

Yesterday my roomate busted out a really plain body varial BS 180. I never really liked the look of a body varial until that moment. It was really lofty and looked almost like he was floating.
I think its not so much the trick, but who does the trick and how stylish they make it.
My Style Rules:
Grabs are very good, just not a tindy, thats lame.
The lip is there to be slid upon, not stared at.
Handstands, while most of us over the age of 20 can do them, were never really a good idea.
Tony Hawk is good, Danny Way is better.
