for those of you who can do kickflips consistently please explain where the best place to slide your front foot off is. the rotation is very inconsistent for me. |

When I do kickflips I set my front foot right behind the bolts of the front truck. Then just approach it like a plain old ollie but flick that ankle. Keep practicing, it'll come. |

the right way to do a kickflip is to put ur front foot as far back as possible, cuz then you get more drag time making your kickflip higher so it dosnt matter how fast you spin it. Thats what works for me, try it _________________ -If you can't get hurt, it's not worth doing- |

i would say right off the point where it goes to the kick of the nose. i find for me that keeps it parallel to the ground, decent pop and it usually flips consistently. although the harder you kick the faster it'll flip _________________ Sebright ack never went to class but we classy |

Yea, I flick my foot off right where the pop for the nose starts. I usually put my foot just behind the bolts. If I'm just doing flatground kickflips they arent't big, but if I do it over something the height seems to adjust by itself.
I was working on getting down kickflip-manuals and realized that kickflips work a lot better if you catch them with your back foot first. It's a lot smoother flip, and it's easier to control the board on landing (if you're wanting to go into a slide, grind or manual.) |
