Just started skateboarding. I need a beginner board, cheap but not too cheap....anysuggestions?

also need help on ollie!!! friends have no clue what i am doing wrong, i pop w/ back foot ( right foot) slide left foot up the board but i dont get any air!?!?!??!

are you lifting your back foot up quickly after you pop the tail? If you slam your back foot down, drag, but don't lift the board won't be going anywhere.

Your local skateshop should have good quality complete setups for about $80. Keep in mind that's for a blank deck or the shop's own brand (which is typically a blank with their logo on it), a big label deck like Birdhouse or something will cost you extra.

Yeah get a blank there just as strong as element, birdhouse, habitat etc. and cheaper. The big brand names might be a bit lighter but thats all. My first set up cost me $190 AUD not sure what that converts to in US though.

i want a skateboard really bad....i went to WV and went to the skatepark there and boarded adnd did really good and my parents won't llet me get one Evil or Very Mad
