Does anyone know what the surface material is on some of the newer rails I see in videos? (The flat stuff) An example is the rails in Free for All (Parks' and Harfs' sections). Some of it looks white and some of it looks grey.

I posted it in here because the slider forum doesn't seem to get much traffic.

Thanks.

you can get trex or fiberon (same stuff) at your local home depot. It is in the arsinic treated wood section along with all of the decking materials. Trex and Fiberon are about $20 for 12' and $25 for 16'. It is not very hard to countersink the screws and I always do.

I personally do not like the bathboard stuff. It does not like to stay down, and if anyone is using fins, they tend to cut the stuff or make marks on it. You can best find it at Loes and it is about $25 for a 4'x8'peice. I used it for my kicker back home, and that is why I don't recomend it.

Tell me if you have any other questions.
