| Alright, I have narrowed it down to the two. I can get the PRS1 for 279 or the utlra sucs for 199. I know everyone says the PRS1 are awesome, but are they worth the extra 80 bucks? Also I heard the LFs run different in size. I have size 10 feet with normal width, what size should I get in the LFs? Anyone with NICE? What size should I get in them? |

i am riding the ultras and love them. i have never ridden the nice or tried them on so i can't say anything about them really besides they look like good bindings. i have a size 12.5 foot in DC Skate shoes and Nikes. and ride xl. if i were you go with the large. the ml would be really tight and xl might have to much room from side to side. _________________ pointless crew is so insane. |

I just got the 03' ultras from www.glassandpowder.com for 187.50 with free shipping. I wear size 10 shoes too and i got the larges. They seem to fit right. I have been breaking them in for the past week and i am taking them out to ride the last time this summer this coming weekend probably. They are really comfortable, but just remember at first they are really hard to get on and really really hard to get off. They are already much easier to put on and take off after just wearing them around the house a couple times.
I have never tried NICE bindings so i cant compare. _________________ www.krookedminds.com

I have a pair of exo sucs, had Byerley's & the exos are way more comfortable. I had never seen a pair of Nice bindings in person till I went to TSR and they had the PRS1's & 2's. They were very heavy & clunky. I didn't try them on, but the LF brand makes every thing I always wanted in a binding, and never knew was possible. _________________ I have gone to great lengths to expand my threshold for pain. |

The NICE PRS1's are an amazing binding. I have ridden both and really like the Ultra's, but I lOVE the NICE. As most everyone knows Ultra's are a very good binding, excellent footbed, nice hold, and good flex. The baseplates need bones or they will flex a lot, that's about the only negative thing about them. If you have weak ankle I also woudl not recomend them as they don't hold as high as some bindings with more support. Great binding that is simple and doesn't need all the bells and whisltes to acheive what is intended.
The NICE bindings have a better footbed, they are made very well, and just seem to have improved upon everything that LF has done. The baseplates are a lot stronger in the NICE, so no slugs/ bones/ plates are need. In LF bindings you have to have them. I think the ratchet on the NICE is the best, it allows the bindings to be tight on the top of the foot but still have flex for pokes at the ankle level. I would go for the NICE bindings because I can't say enough good things about them. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. After riding Nice (PRS1/PRS2/Scarecrows) I will never ride anything else. _________________
