I had the best time this past weekend at Worlds it was so awesome. thanks to BillJ and Mr. Hahn who hooked it up out there!! I got to go out wakesurfing with Cobe, who is one of the nicest fellas I have met . We hung out with CP(Charley Patterson) and Jon Lindsay who are way cool and totally stoked about the sport and getting the word out with the mission to ride tour they put on. So check out mission2ride.com and see when they are coming to your town. I can't even begin to describe how awesome it was for me to see the guys I only get to see in the magazines and the videos but not only see them to actually hang out with them. Everyone is really cool and down to earth... they don't act like dicks or like they are better than you just because they were pro wakeboarders, and that to me is what is so great about the sport. I also got to go check out the premier of blacklist which was a pretty sweet movie and had some sick riding in it. On my last day we went out and did a photo shoot with Andrew Adkinson, who got robbed of a podium spot in my opinion, also Ryan Wolfe and Gerry Nunn. It was so sick!! Andrew stuck a perfect wake to wake heelside 9 not to mention just having a super smooth and sick style. Ryan Wolfe, man that guy has such a fun style to watch and he just tears it up, watch out for him on tour soon. And what's to say about Gerry he still just kills it and is such a cool guy to hang out with and talk to. Oh and how could i forget meeting the practical inventors of the sport Tony Finn and Jimmy Redmond, who are hillarious. So yeh i had to come on and brag a little but it was so fun and it just shows what an awesome sport wakeboarding is and how cool everyone in the sport is.

worlds was awesome.i meert all my favorite riders and they would talk to you like a one of you riding friends. i got shane bonifay to sign my board and he wrote this cool little message on it.

Look for Nick sitting on the dock next to Murray during the finals. He was sitting there with Murray, Lyman (who wasn't riding due to blown ACL), Shapiro, and a few others as they waited to ride. Nick should get plenty of camera time since he was the closest one to the camera.

Yep, definitely a sweet weekend. I'm just glad I'm back home so I can get some rest! Rolling Eyes

Vance, nice meeting you too. Definitely a fun weekend and I'm still sorting thru all of the pics. I thought I had one of Nick on the starting dock hanging with all of the pros but I guess not. But here is one I found of him just watching the action.

That is hilarious Grouch!!! I paid $50 last summer to get a "lesson" from Charley when Mission2Ride came through...nice enough guy, I guess, but every time I looked up into the boat to get a pointer, his head was turned talking to my hot neighbor Kim. Didn't learn a damn thing that day. Although he did convince me I needed a new board because mine wasn't long enough. Thanks Charley!!

Grouch, yeah we didn't party with ODM but we saw him at the site every day. Apparently he's too good to party with us - oh wait, maybe it's the other way around. Also talked to Jimmy and Tony quite a bit.

I don't think it's going till Monday, but I could be worng I know that we are leaving Sunday. Myself, Chris, Mik, their friend AJ, Shannon, and Chavezychavez (Tom) and some other peeps are all heading out Friday. I will be getting there about 9pm cause of lame baskeball.
