HAS ANYONE INSTALLED A STEERING CABLE ON A 99 PRO AIR NAUTIQUE. THE DEALER WANTS TWO HUNDRED BONES TWO INSTALL A 150 DOLLAR CABLE.IT LOOKS LIKE I WOULD NEED TO REMOVE THE GAS TANKS SOME FLOORING ANYTHING ELSE? |

| ive never installed a cable but $50 laber sounds pretty good, I would let the dealer do it. thats just my 10 cents my 2 cents is free. |

you can do it yourself it isn,t that difficult and you don,t have to be a mechanic to replace a steering cable.
it,s a 99 so what,s the problem with the old one?i can hardly believe it has worn out after 5 years....wich in most cases is +/-500 hours.

You want to attach the new cable to the old one, so when you pull the old one out the new one is automatically pulled into position, its not a terribly hard job, but it will take a little time. _________________ www.midwestmastercraft.com
