Yes, they are all based on real tricks. Obviously a lot of the stuff that's done is physically impossible, but the game wouldn't be fun if it was only realistic..

Yeah, he makes me mad sometimes 'cuz it's impossible to catch up to him. Every time you think you're getting closer (which you never are) he busts out a new combo or trick that'll take you years to learn. I just watched Opinion last night for the 100th time & his part still makes me scream.

"but the game wouldn't be fun if it was only realistic.."

Thrasher Skate and Destroy was really realistic and it was a really good skateboarding game. It was so hard compared to THPS, and I think thats what made that game fun, it was more of a challenge. THPS is just too easy, try playing Thrasher for a real challenge.

Yes, Mullen is a freestyler. He is also a bit of a nerd. But he takes his freestyle and is putting it into todays street scene. Darkslides? - I'd like to see one of those on flatground.

How about his casper slides down transitions? Or his manual-flip-manual ability over park benches?

Nobody accuses Daewon of being a flatgrounder......

Anyway, its all opinion. Some skate big, some skate tech. Rodney is tech. variety is the spice of life my friends.

i think that freestyle is the most fun part of skateboarding because it is the one place that you can put your own style to it and no one really know the difference

Do my eyes deceive me??? Is someone really dissing rodney mullen. Everyone should kiss the ground he walks on. He invented almost every trick in the book. Respect your elders!
