I was wondering if anyone has been to The Wakeboard Camp in Orlando? I'm going down on the 21st. If anyone can tell me what it was like that would be great!

yup, you mean the one in Clermont? I have been there twice...all i can say is it AWSOME, great place, well worth the money (get some other people if ya can and make it a group, you get a discount which helps, thats what i did) .. just look around the forums, do a search, there are so many threads on this, ...its great though, you will LOVE the camp, great coaches, nice boats, good food,, make new friends, and smooth lake all day (if wheather is good)..there is more, just cant think right now

Talk to Missjade. She is just getting back from there. I haven't spoken to her yet about the experience, but I'm sure that she will let you know about anything you will need. I have heard nothing but good things about it, I also think lyndsey went as well. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. i went with jillian back in april (we put a group together from wakeboarder.com). It was awesome. All the coaches are great and friendly. try to ride with Kyle if you can, but if not definitely Kurt or Ben. the accommodations were a little more rugged than I expect, but once you get into the swing of things, you learn how little time you really do spend in your bunk. I've been lucky enough to see all the coaches from there many times outside of camp, and they truly are some of the greatest guys in the industry. _________________ SlidingGlass.com

Thanks for all the info! I definately want to get some instruction from Kyle! I sent him a video clip when I was trying to learn a grab and he emailed me back to tell me what I should be doing. I thought that was so cool for him to take the time to do that. Plus his explaination was so simple. Unfortunately I'm only going for 4 days instead of the full week. If I like it, I will go down again in the spring if I can find some people to go. Thanks again girls!!

The Boarding School is awsome, you should def. go check it out. www.theboardingschool.com There is nothing like riding with two of the best in the sport, Murray and Moye. I went last week and it was the est week of my life. The instruction is increadible. Not only do they coach you from inside the bot but Shaun rode double with me a few times so he could show my exactly how it was done on the water and correct me. They just bought a sweet 3 bedroom house ina a chain of 6 llakes, so youare always garunteed nice water. Im going back the second I can affor it, hopefully December. _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.
