Check out this tower. I have the SkyJac Mini Tower and the quality is very nice. I think the universal tower would be great. Collapsing with two knobs, rather than hex bolts, is a real plus in my opinion.
I found it for $1299 here through a google search: http://flipsell.com/Phase3/home/BrowseGear.asp?DeptID=1
I think $1599 is the usual price you find at online stores like Bart's.
Go here for more pictures:
http://www.skyjac.com/wakeboard_towers.htm
I never see SkyJac mentioned but I think it's a really nice alternative to the more popular Joystick, which does not collapse as easily.

I guess it's personal preference. I think it looks great. I'm not really a big fan of the straight-tube dual-hoop boxy look of the Joystick.
I like the swooped back curvy look...sexy!

You might want to check out the new universal Skylon Swoop tower lineup for 2003. Up until this year, Skylon mainly had their OEM Malibu Swoop tower. Now they have a whole lineup of swoop style towers for any boat at good prices.
Another option is the Wake Designs Whirly Bar Pro Series. This year it is a tower without the cable - it looks good and is under $1,000.

Hey Orzech, the Joystick uni tower does look pretty good on my boat it does colapse but is a real pain in the ass. I just leave it up. I'm totaly happy with my tower. I think though that what ever tower you go with your boat is going to look hot! It's a nautique. If you do want a joy stick uni-tower call joystick direct at 619-683-3401 and they can hook you up.

Orzech,
Our 2003 Sport tower sells for $1,290 and that is fully custom made to your specific boat. It is a full one piece tower no joints means no mevement and no rattles. It does fold forward for storage. When you get it, it is fully assembled and ready to put on the boat. Check us out.

i will think about the wake air one... i want a tower that will collapse enough where i will be able to keep it under a canopy on a lift
if i were to just leave the tower up under the canopy..... the canopy would be up a lot higher and not protect the boat as much.. am i right?
thanks for all of the help guys

We are currently considering adding one "aftermarket" tower to our lineup this year.
Last year we carried the BareWest towers but we discontinued them after we secured Authorized Dealer status with both Titan and Boss Accessories.
We now have four first-tier OEM tower lines from Boss (Calibria, Tige, Supreme), Skylon (Malibu, MBSport, Centurion), Titan (Malibu), and Wake Designs (Tige, Four Winns). All four of these manufacturers now have either a custom tower that can be manufacturered to fit any boat or like Skylon, offer a universal tower.
We have found the quality of these four manufacturers to be the top in the industry. I have personally visited the factories and we have sold a lot of product from all four.
Based on this, we will be very picky if we add a non-OEM tower manufacturer to our line-up. If we do add an aftermarket tower line, I have been considering 13th Floor.
Does anybody have experience with the quality of 13th Floor. They are a relatively new company (under 3 years).
I would look closely at the two Skylon towers, the X-treme at $1,499 and the X-bend Swoop at $1,899. These two towers look great, especially the S-bend. The quality is great at this price point and they ship immediately without extensive measurements or custom manufacturing.
