Best Skate Video

I don't want to waste my money on a bad skate video so what is the best skateboard video or DVD I can get, with not much filler and heaps of good riding? Preferably one with Rodney Mullen in it but it doesn't matter too much.

Ive never seen it but ive only heard good things about opinion. You might have seen the thread on the video but i think im going to buy it tomorrow. And yeah is has Mullen in it.

Opinion is great if you wanna see some sick Rodney footage. Opening trick is a 1-handed handstand fingerflip to rail. Standout sections also include Danny Gonzalez & Matt Mumford (although Matt's gets a bit repetitive).

The Rodney vs Daewon series are okay, the 1st is better than the 2nd. Opinion still blows doors on both. He's good in the first 3 Plan B videos as well, Second Hand Smoke being the best in my opinion. Still, get the Globe video, you won't be disappointed.

I would have to agree with you Jester about Rodney Vs Daewon 1 being better than 2. Although I will say that I got a kick out of the intro to the sequel.
And you are my hero for mentioning Plan B's masterpiece Second Hand Smoke. I just bought a copy of the dvd and I'm as happy as a clam!

Yeah, Chomp is the Atiba project. Basically they flipped roles & the skaters filmed a lotta the videographers skating. Some of it's good, most of it's crap. Good concept but the novelty wears out quickly. Koston, Beibel, Sanchez, McBride, & Thomas have standout parts. Actually, Atiba rips too, but most of the rest of the skating is kinda lame.

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed by Chomp... I was just at the Canadian Premier of Darkstar's new vid Battalion... It was pretty good, but nothing too special... They definitely have a sick team though...

second hand smoke is sick. Jeremy Wray's opening was jaw dropping when the video first came out. get Opinion, you won't be disapointed.
An all time classic is debbie does blockhead, sick skating for the time and the barbie porno at the end is classic Very Happy

mullen's section in second hand smoke is pretty good too. His section in opinion is even better though.

After watching Mullens section in Opinion its hard to watch the rest, he blows everyone away. Watch the bonus footage "Globe Ams", good advertisement for helmets. One thing though, the footage in THPS4 is from this video so you may have seen some of it already.

Yeah also the THPS3 vids are off it to, but the whole section runs for about 6 minutes. But IMO alot of the skaters tend to repeat each other.

you should get yeah right or really sorry. menikmati is also a sick film. oh and the new dc video with danny way is crazy. he sets up a huge rollin with a kicker and a gap and hucks fs720's over it. pretty gnar. its like snow shread status.
