I have the direct drive and with the stock ballast in it and some other weights equally dispersed through out the boat the wake is perfect for wakeskating and than a fat buddy on each side of the motor and the wake is nice and rampy for wakeboarding.
I like mine alot. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ http://www.mutinywake.com

They had both boats at the Greenville boat show. The lsv was about $5000 higher than the direct drive mobius. I hate throwing the pumps in the water and then having to try to walk around those damn fat sack. I will probably go with the lsv, so I just flip the switch and fill the bags that are out of the way. |

You better test drive that lsv. It doesn't have a great wake even with the ballast tanks. I would look into the Supra's if you are in that market or go with a Wakesetter. _________________ My opinion is my opinion!

Coletrain,
Is that your only deciding factor? if it is, is it worth that $5,000 to you? Just a thought....We love our direct drive mobius. You could design a balast system that is fully automatic for tops like $1000! Spend the other $4000 on a sweet stereo, racks, lights etc....Just my opinion!
Good Luck with your decision! _________________ Riders Inc. |

I have a boomerang right now so anything would have a bigger wake than my boat. The main things I am looking for is perfect pass, automatic ballast system, tower, in a boat less than 21 feet.
Geoff, do you use any other weight besides the factor ballast. How is the wake. |
